My story, why I started this mission, and what you will find here.
My Story
My name is Jordan Alexo. I am a Christian writer and resource creator from Portugal. I became a Christian four years ago.
Before that, I was already working online as an entrepreneur. I ran a YouTube channel and blog under my own name, where I taught about self-publishing and other topics. I understood business, content, and books, but I did not truly understand Christ.
I sometimes say that, back then, Jesus was just “a cool guy with long hair” to me. That was about as deep as my understanding went.
Then several difficult events forced me to take the spiritual life seriously. I began to realize that Christianity was not just a set of ideas, traditions, or moral lessons.
I needed Christ Himself. I needed truth, repentance, prayer, and a faith that could stand when life became heavy.
During that season, I also had to step away from my online business because I was burned out. It was painful, but God used that time to draw me closer to Him.
One verse that became especially meaningful to me was Matthew 11:28:
“Come to me, all you who are tired and are carrying heavy loads. I will give you rest.”
I found rest in Christ, even though that journey was not always easy. I struggled, learned, prayed, and slowly began to grow.
Eventually, I joined a church congregation, started learning the Bible more seriously, and became part of a Christian community.
Why I Started Blessed Compass
What I Saw After Baptism
In April of 2024, I was baptized. Soon after, I began praying for people in the streets with a friend.
Through that ministry, I met many people who were spiritually hungry, wounded, confused, or searching for answers. Some were open to prayer. Some had questions about God. Others carried pain they had never really spoken about.
What stood out to me most was how many people, especially younger people, seemed to be seeking something real but did not know where to find it. That made me think deeply about how we live and share the faith.
More Than Sunday Christianity
For many people, Christianity can become something they only associate with Sunday church attendance, religious words, or family tradition. But following Christ is much deeper than that.
We are called to know Him, follow Him, pray, repent, love others, share the gospel, and live as active disciples.
When I look back on my own life, I realize that for thirty-seven years, nobody had ever clearly spoken to me about Jesus. And yet, like many people, I was searching for meaning.
The Hunger Only Christ Can Fill
For many years, I tried to find meaning through success, self-help, meditation, yoga, New Age practices, and personal improvement. But none of those things could give me what only Christ could give.
Since coming to Jesus, He has worked in me more deeply than all those years of searching ever did. He has helped me face sin, temptation, bad habits, fear, and confusion. He has given me a peace and joy I did not know was possible.
How Blessed Compass Began
At one point, I prayed, “God, I want to work full time for You.”
Over time, I began to believe God was opening a door for me to use the skills I had learned through writing, publishing, online business, and content creation for a different purpose.
That is how Blessed Compass began.
Blessed Compass is a Christian publishing and teaching project created to help people build deeper roots in the faith. Here, I want to share clear Christian teaching, write books and resources, and address the questions and challenges many Christians, families, and churches are facing today.
The goal is not to create another random Christian website. The goal is to help people understand the faith, live the faith, and pass it on.

My Hope for Blessed Compass
My hope for Blessed Compass is to glorify God by providing helpful, clear, and well-researched Christian resources. I love God, and I want to share His love with others. But I also know that we do not always explain our faith in simple words.
Sometimes Christians become used to speaking with other believers, and we forget that many people do not understand our language, our assumptions, or the way we see the world.
The Word of God is meant for everyone. That is why I want Blessed Compass to help make Christian truth clear without making it shallow.
My hope is that this site helps people build a stronger foundation in the faith, understand Christian truth more easily, and learn how to explain it to others in simple, faithful words.
